Apple Cider Vinegar for Health & Beauty

Recently I’ve been using Apple Cider Vinegar more frequently in my cooking.  But just like white vinegar has multiple uses, so does Apple Cider Vinegar.  In fact there are quite of few ways to implement Apple Cider Vinegar into your Health and Beauty routines.

Here are my top 10 ways to use Apple Cider to replace some of those pricey Health & Beauty items that are often filled with ingredients we don’t recognize and might not be so good for us.

Aftershave- Apple Cider is a natural astringent so it is great for a natural alternative to aftershave.  Just mix equal parts of apple cider and water and splash on your skin after shaving.

Shine your Hair  – If you watch infomercials at all I’m sure you have heard how shampoo, conditioner and styling products can dull your hair.  No need to buy a pricey rinse though.  Apple Cider Vinegar works great to dissolve leftover residues.  After shampooing your hair, apply vinegar mixed with water to your hair.  Then rinse and dry your hair.   It also works to remove dandruff

Whiten Your Teeth – If you have stubborn stains on your teeth, rubbing apple cider directly on your teeth can help you out.  Just be sure to rinse with water afterwards and don’t do it too often because it can break down tooth enamel.

Relieve Sore Muscles  Did you strain your muscles exercising.  Just add 3 cups of Apple Cider Vinegar to bath water and soak for 30 minutes to relieve aching muscles.

Remove Warts – File the dead skin of the wart down with emery board.  Apply full strength apple cider vinegar to a cotton ball.  Tape the cotton ball onto the wart with band-aid or first aid tape.  Leave it on overnight.  Remove in the morning and wash with soap and warm  water.  Repeat for 10 days.

Fight Acne – Mix equal parts vinegar with water.  Apply to skin with cotton balls to areas of face that are prone to acne.  No need to buy expensive face cleaners with chemicals you don’t recognize.

Gas Relief – No need to buy Gas-x, Vinegar and Honey can help you.  Just mix 1 teaspoon unfiltered Apple Cider vinegar with 1 tsp. honey and 1 cup of water and drink.

Prevent Urinary Track Infections – If these nasty things plague you, try Apple Cider Vinegar.  Drink one glass daily of 2 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar, 1 teaspoon Honey and 1 cup Water.

Stop Hiccups – Simply swallow a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar and hopefully your hiccups will disappear.

Naturally Lower Your Cholesterol –   If your hesitant to start cholesterol reducing drugs, you might want to give Apple Cider Vinegar a chance.  Some studies have shown it may lower cholesterol.  To try it out, mix 2 teaspoons of Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar with apple juice or Grapefruit Juice and drink a cup daily.
