Facebook Live Savings – So Glad I Opened My Email

 FMM-Weekly-Savings-Facebook-Live

Do you delete a lot of emails without even opening them?

I will confess, I do, but I am so glad that wasn’t the case with a recent email from CVS.  Here was the topic:

email-from-cvs

Normally I would skip this thinking it was just an online deal, but I am so glad I opened it because here is what it actually included:

This definitely caught my attention because while I don’t need cosmetics, I (meaning my two teen-age daughter) can use skincare and a extra $5 off a deal that could include coupons and ECBS could make for a terrific deal.  In fact this $5 savings (which was only good for 2 days) along with another deal I recieved in my email (25% off a regular priced item, expiring today) got me to go to CVS today when I hadn’t planned on going this week.

Here’s what I ended up getting:

CVS-Savings

Without coupons and sales these items would have cost $66, but my total cost (including $5 lost ECBs) was just $7.27.  That’s two dollars lower then the regular price of just one of the Neutrogena items.  To make sure the Neutrogena Items worked I did two transactions.  Here’s the receipt from the Neutrogena Purchase with details.

I had wondered if using the 25% off would make it not print the $10 ECB for spending $30, but it didn’t.  It does appear that the 25% was taken off after the $5/$25 coupon was applied (otherwise my savings would have been $2.50, but I’m not complaining.)

So here was the exact deals

Buy 3 Neutrogena Items – $30.57
Use Two $3 Neutrogena Acne Printable Coupons
and One $3 Neutrogena Acne Printable Coupon from CVS App

and $3 of ECB from buying $30 of beauty products on last Trip – Yet another reason to register with CVS
used $10 ECB from last trip

Transaction #2

I then used the $10 ECB for transaction 2.  These transactions only require one paper and one computer to print from.

So the details of this week’s Facebook Live savings and it’s all because I checked and opened my emails.  Speaking of the Facebook Live, if you watch it there is an item that I found at Aldi I was pretty happy about.  Here it is:

I know it says CVS preview in the logo.  I will be updating this to include it, but wanted to post so you can get this week’s deals.
